Aside from footwear I am a very hands on artist/designer. While at Pratt Institute I was taught multiple disciplines and was always around an array of creatives. I learned to branch out of my department anytime possible to hang out in the Industrial Design studios, Fashion Design studios and Jewelry Design studios. I used every opportunity to expand my horizons outside of Communications Design and engage in other disciplines. Below you will see the multi-facets of me as a designer other than footwear. Designing jewelry has always been something I loved. Woodworking has always been very intriguing, so I decided to make a kid's balance bike. Watercolor which is my favorite medium, is my art therapy. And one day I decided to make my own kids shoe in my living room and pour my own mold. Whenever I have a chance I will pick up a paint brush, or go to Home Depot and browse around for inspiration, or simply sketch a new creative project on a napkin, whatever it may be. It is always a healthy practice to stay creative!
