One of the most important things to me is to talk and think about why things do and don't work. I strive on being imaginative and innovative because you never know when that light bulb is going to go off. I have always been a believer of making something out of nothing. So, I decided to pursue getting a utility patent. After dozens of factory trips to China over the years you really get a hands on experience of how the product is made. I learned that I really thrive when actually working up and close while the product is being made. Seeing the machinery and understanding the machinery, seeing the production lines. Understanding assembly gets the creative juices flowing even more. This direct interaction makes your mind switch to efficiency, how can I make it better?, what will help the world?, whether it is perfecting/manipulating a process or creating an entirely new idea.
